Today, I am better than yesterday

This is a mantra I`ve adopted into my life in order to help me along the path to becoming the greatest version of myself. No one is perfect, and there is always something we can improve on in aspects of health and wellness, spiritual development, career, relationships, and pretty much every crevice of our lives. We have this life to live. Why not do it the best we can?

My goal is to go to bed at night and be able to say:
Today, I am better than yesterday.
In accomplishing this mission, I`ve started The Challenge of the Weak:

THE CHALLENGE OF THE WEAK

I`m the type of person who is motivated by challenge (and consequences of not meeting said challenges), so I have challenged myself to these tasks that I want to improve on in my life.

If i fail to complete a challenge, I have to do a consequence. These consequences are often twisted and embarrassing, so that is extra motivation not to fail. For this month, the consequence is: you have to record yourself slapping yourself as hard as you can in the face with your foot and upload it to Facebook.

The mission list is ongoing and I find myself constantly adding to it. Here`s what I have so far:
  • Meditate twice a day (90 days)
  • Work out at least 4 times a week (ongoing)
  • NPNF (90 days)
  • Sleep at 11, wake up at 6 (as much as possible)
I started these challenges about 2 weeks ago, and so far I`m right on track! I`m posting about this for a couple of reasons:
  1. Accountability. By posting this for the world to see, I am making myself accountable not only to myself, but to you as well. It`s important to make yourself accountable to your support system in endeavors such as this.
  2. Hopefully to inspire you to do the same.
If there is something in your life you wish you could improve on, strap on your big person boots, challenge yourself, and proclaim it to the world!
