The Machine (or System) is a socio-political-economic maze-like construct that has us locked into a rat race lifestyle which serves only to propagate the system itself. It is a dream-killing system that nurtures ignorance and obedience.
The bars of our jail cell are all around us if we can keep our heads above the bullshit long enough to see them.
The school system that rewards mindless memorization over critical thinking. The religions that teach the lie of separation. The consumerist lifestyle that has us buying things we don't need to fill voids in our hearts that are a result of the system. The 9-5 modern slave work week where we work at jobs we don't particularly enjoy, to pay for the car that takes us to work. The "government" lol.
And if we allow the system to dictate the way we live, we devolve into mindless cogs and gears in the machine as we lose our the spark that makes us human.
