You at 29 |
First piece of advice: be true to yourself! You are about to embark on a crazy adventure (high school, puberty, onwards). Through it all, be true to yourself. That will be hardest in high school. You will feel the need to fit in, but there's nothing wrong with being different.
Love your family. They will stick with you through it all. Surround yourself with good friend who will life you up to be the best person you can be, and not those fake friends who use you as a stepping stool for their ego.
Don't spend so much time playing games. Instead, work on hobbies like martial arts, playing guitar and dancing with your hands. Trust me. Girls dig guys with hobbies.
Speaking of girls, don't worry about that either. Get to know yourself first so that you can get to know who will fit you. Do not change yourself in order to fit her. Girls will come and girls will go. Love fiercely and don't let a broken heart keep you down. You will actually spend most of your life up until now single lol you have a lot to do before you're ready to settle down!
You should probably start meditating. It will help you in every aspect of your future. Bruce Lee meditates ;)
I know right now, you're vehemently against drugs. Got news for you kid. You've been brainwashed! There are "drugs" out there that will expand your mind and soul, with no detriment to your health. Do your research, and proceed with caution and respect. They will change your life for the better.
Find yourself before pursuing post-secondary education. When you find your passion, follow it with all your heart.
You must be wondering what career you'll have at 30... drum roll please... * * * *
You're actually jobless right now lol you quit your career a couple of months ago because you knew it wasn't for you. It may sound grim, but it's the most honest turn you've taken in a long time! You're finally following your heart and currently gearing up and ready for a trip around the world!
Lastly, enjoy right now. Live life with minimal regrets. The end of life is not the point. It's how you get there that counts :)
